for the time the C79 came out and was originally issued it was a very good option for a standard issue optic, especially at a time where a lot of nations still onky ran irons, Canada like always was an early adopter and a slow upgrader as our tech became more and more obsolescence

That would certainly make sense as Isreal has compulsory military service , and a citizen army that can be called up at any time if the need arises .

it is harder than you can think to get a firearm in israel ...as a civilian.
