Is the ACOG used by the US Army consider high end ? Because it did compared to the garbage C79 they slapped on ours


+1 for Elcan Specter and Aimpoint Pro

for the time the C79 came out and was originally issued it was a very good option for a standard issue optic, especially at a time where a lot of nations still onky ran irons, Canada like always was an early adopter and a slow upgrader as our tech became more and more obsolescence
 
That would certainly make sense as Isreal has compulsory military service , and a citizen army that can be called up at any time if the need arises .:sniper:

Israel uses a lot of Meprolight stuff. Interestingly, they'll sell the stuff "as issued" to civilians

it is harder than you can think to get a firearm in israel ...as a civilian.
 
I would dismiss anything LEO approved. The knowledge base just isn't there. Tier 1 western militaries and a few others like the Israelis are where to take your cue from.
