Picked up a Lee Enfield No.5 at the Clagray show. It's got some dings in the wood and had some rust on the outside of the mag. However, the bore is good along with all the metal. I figured for $275 I can make it a project to make it look pretty

Couple new ones, a byf44 with a bolt mismatch only, and a byf45 full kreigsmodell all matching. I have been after this byf45 for a long time, finally got her! What a warhorse this one was!

Thanks Gentlemen, yes the byf45 has got the roughest stock I've seen, not at all quality craftsmanship it seems, and it has been around the block. I know they were crude with the wood at the war's end, but man, this one must have been usd pretty hard, either during the last months of the war, or more likely postwar. Who knows? Nice!!! Whatb is the code on yours? Both the buttplates are in the white, both are heavily used and worn, and my camera sucks!
