Well I didn't want to start this but somebody's got to do it...
Today is Good Friday but yesterday was a good Thursday as my new toy arrived.
My matching Czeka Zbrojovna vz.24 from the Wolverine Supplies Surplus Sale (some of you might recognize the pic). This was the standard prewar Czech Army pistol. Its unfortunate that it had to be dewated as it is 12.6.
The serial # of my vz.24 is in the 131### range. So if you have been following my posts on the Polish Contract vz.24 (automatyczny Pistolet wz.28), this indicates that it was manufactured in 1936 or later, and by its military acceptance stamp entered into service in 1937.
But does anyone definitively know what the J represents?
I'll post better pics later.
