AR-15 80% Lower Receivers and Combos are back @ Dlask Arms !

I received my combo order today and found I can not put any of my charge handle in the upper and after compared with other uppers (Colt IUR and Lantac) I found Dlask upper's cut out notch is too small(short) to put handle in. Any idea?

Sorry to hear you are having quality issues with Dlask's products, over the course of about a year I've purchased 1000's of $$$ worth of merchandise from them and in my experience quality has never been an issue.
This is not to say I've never had issues, cause there have been many.
Dlask has the monopoly in Canada for some hard to get items and I for one am grateful that they offer them to the public. But this does not justify them being able to have the lousy customer service that they provide their customer base with.
Earlier last year I bought a parts kit in stainless steel for my stainless steel commander 1911, I received my package and got a government FLGR and also government length bushing.
Calling them concerning my issue they shipped the proper bushing but told me to cut the FLGR to fit lol. Being a tempered steel part I was a little leary about cutting it so I ordered a GI guide rod from elsewhere.
I payed for s/s but my ejector, extractor, sear, disconnector and sear leaf were all blued after calling them to explain my dilemma their response to me was that s/s is to brittle for those parts.
I payed extra for s/s...
It's always been a pleasure speaking with Leigh on the telephone but the guys there can be real #######s! Them literally being snappy with me on the telephone or them telling me that their too busy right now lol.
My latest order which was placed on the 18th last month still hasn't arrived. All my other previous orders have taken 3 days.
So on the 28th of last month I send an email asking for a tracking number for my order, as of today I still have never gotten a email response lol.
I have my wife call and I don't know whom it was but it was one of the guys, not Leigh. Tells my wife that the package can only arrive as fast as what canada post delivers lol.
I have wife call back next day, Leigh picks up and explains to her that the remaining missing parts of the LPK just arrived at the shop today and that all my stuff would be getting shipped out today wtf!!! Who knew I was ordering incomplete part kits and that I would have to wait for them to be completed lol.
I've never complained before but this has always been an issue with me when dealing with them.
I've had many other emails go without ever being responded to when asking about restocking sold out items.
My understanding is that dlask is a sponsor to this site, I also understand speaking about dlask's customer service in a negative way is not in the site's best interest, as of conflict of interest. But as a paying customer and a member of this site i do feel that these issues have to be brought up for discussion.
Here's hoping that your issue will be dealt with in a timely matter my friend.

PLEASE post a link as to where you are finding 3axis CNC mills available for less than 2 grand.

Here for starters - http://www.robotshop.com/ca/en/sherline-3-axis-5000-cnc-ready-tabletop-vertical-milling-machine-package-inch.html

OK, so the CNC kit is extra. Sorry, my bad. But there are some el cheapo 3 axis cnc router kits that are way cheaper on flea-bay.

This one is probably a bit much for home use but looks interesting - http://www.tormach.com/store/index.php?app=ecom&ns=catshow&ref=PCNC1100_Mill

Closer...- http://www.flashcutcnc.com/cnc-machines/2000-tabletop-mills

Or make your own - http://www.instructables.com/id/Easy-to-Build-Desk-Top-3-Axis-CNC-Milling-Machine/

Give Leigh a call if you are having issues, as you can see he's not responding to the thread.

I got respond by email that they never see this issue before and I can get refund if I return it. But I am still thinking can I fix it by myself if charging handle is the only issue.

Don't grind down a perfectly good charging handle because their upper is grossly out of spec.

Thanks for advice, if I am going to do that I will only grind upper's notch not my charging handle.
And also I want to know if there are more issues on this upper since bungsTPS told me his BCG cannot fit in it. Hope someone had built a upper by it and leave some feedback here.

Has anybody actually measured any of the parts? Because these are a long established thing and in the era of very precise and repeatable cnc equipment, I find it hard to believe that any manufacturer would allow out of spec parts out the door.

I would be sceptical also if it was only one person with this problem. CNC Machines are set up and run by machinists (humans). It is possible to make mistakes sometimes. Even the smallest difference can make or break it. That may be the case. Im always very happy with their products. This isn't a regular occurrence. Sometimes it happens. We're only human.

Oh, I know that. And that's why I'm wondering if anybody has properly measured the parts involved to find what and where is out of spec. A loose insert or a dull cutter can do all kinds of strange things. Things that really should have been caught in QC.
