Didn't know how to title the thread exactly.
Have been thinking of selling my AR kit (LMT MRP/two uppers/Leupold MR/T scope/cartridges/accessories/etc.) to a good friend but am having second thoughts due to what is happening in The States, AR-15s doubling & tripling in price if not sold-out, PMAG panics, shortages of .223 cartridges, etc.
Given that one doesn't need the money, would it be a good idea to keep this stuff in the event it becomes hard to get any of this stuff in the future and perhaps for no other reason ultimately. Will quality AR-15s and associated products/accessories potentially become essentially collectors items and increase drastically in monetary "value" for those who have them?
Could they try to pull the same thing up here and eventually re-classify AR-15 as prohibited? Pardon the "conspiracy theorist's" approach to this but all it would take is a little "incident" somewhere involving and AR and it would be University of Montreal on steroids.
Very interested to hear thoughts on this from the forum.
Thanks and best regards.
