No issues whatsoever, I actually sold the upper (14.5") and now run the lower with an 11.5" Armalite, I wanted a shorter rifle.

I have mostly been running Armalite uppers due to them being pretty much the only stuff easilly available a few years back, since then with the various board sponsors many more options are available. With that in mind, Armalite has and is serving me very well.

In terms of AR config preferences, these are things I have made a must (or like very much) in my builds:

- FA bolt carriers with protected firing pin channel.
- Magpul stocks & grips.
- Magpul enhanced trigger guard.
- KAC single point receiver end plate mount.
- PRI gas block front sight.
- ARMS #40L rear sight.
- PRI Gasbuster charging handle, M84 with big military latch.
- KFH Krink blast conditionner

As far as rifles go, I do research on what's available and see if it meets my needs, special order items can take mucho time to get. Keep in mind I am not looking for that accuracy 0.5 MOA gun, I build for reliability and function. So far my guns have been uterly reliable.

I have a Bushmaster 16" XM15 E2S version. Works like a charm. Swapped a few parts to customize, if I could figure out how to post a pic, I would.

DLASK arms, ATRS, QUESTAR, ARMS EAST has a canadian made (mostly) upper as well.
