AR-15's

Best thing you can do if you like black rifles of ANY type is take your Restricted Course and buy an AR-15. Even a stripped lower will do until you can build it up.

Then go get involved in friendly local-level rifle matches.

Why?

'Legitimate competition purposes' is why we can have AR-15s. It is the only civilian ownable rifle that permits non-CF people to participate in civilian marksmanship initiatives and competitions alongside our military. The more, the merrier.

Then go buy whatever other similar rifles you'd like to own. PE-90, Robarm, AR-180B, whatever ... but please consider being an asset to our sport by joining the ranks of AR owners. :)

Well since you twisted my arm. I guess I’ll have to...:D

Just out of curiosity how much do one of these guns cost?

For AR's, They run from a low of $800 (Norinco or parts built) to a high of $2,400+ (Armalite Target, Colt LE etc), taxes and shipping not included. Mags average in the $35-40 dollar range. They sky is the limit, boardered only by your imagination and desire to "pimp" your new toy.

Wolverine and Stag arms (both board supporters at the top of the page) have their price lists on line. Good deals can be found in the equipment exchange too.

I haven't shot it yet but they say it's a little better than an A2 FH.
The main reason I have it on there is it directs the blast toward the direction the muzzle is pointed. Better for people shooting and standing next to a short bbl AR. Ouch! Also it helps with the reliable functioning of the AR when cycling a round.

Spike, Very nice CQB set up you got there!;)
I have the same Noveske (FH) on my 7.5 AR. I hope to try it soon. I guess it should vent the blast forward as per their advertised function.
