Super smooth shooting weapon. no issues with the build or shooting it for the first time. I was not looking to get into the AR game. but the SGW has the lower on sale for $110 a while back. thought it would be fun to build a gun. I kinda had a C7 clone in mind. wanted no forward assist because I shoot left handed and did not want unnecessary junk in my face. wanted a rifle length gas system for smooth cycling and reliability. I bought the parts over a year and a bit, as I learned what I wanted, what I could afford, and was available. this Is the result.

My newest AR for 3-gun on top and and my trusty Norinco that to this day has had zero failures in thousands of rounds down the pipe. New AR is Alberta Tactical lower and JP Enterprise upper receiver with McGowan barrel, Timney trigger, Samson 15" Evolution forend and Surefire brake among other goodies.

P. S. Mags have snap caps not live ammo in them.

Got a new Daniel Defense DDM4v4 from Wolverine last month. Made a few EOTech and Magpul enhancements...

- EXPS3-0 HWS
- G33 STS
- UBR stock
- MIAD grip
- AFG2 foregrip
- MS4 QD sling
- PMAG Gen M3
- MagLink

It's heavy (thanks to the EOTechs), but I like the setup. Perfectly suitable for the range.

Completing it next week; CTCS is sending me a BCM Ambi changing handle. Can't wait!

Amazing pic, an this must be a lot of fun!
what barrel length?

Thanks. It's 12.5" right no but I have a 10.3" on the way. I have no idea how she shoots. The weather has been so crappy and I've been working 6 day weeks since Jan. Maybe this wknd I'll get to sight her in. :)

Nothing special, but not bad for my first AR and considering the cost. Built it up myself so far. Started with a brand new AR and went from there. DPMS Oracle A3 with a Bushnell Holosight, extended charging handle and single point sling/mount. Also have a DPMS detachable A2 post and a S&W detachable carry handle incase I want to switch to iron sights.
