AR-15's

Is that supposed to be common knowledge to people new to guns? Get over yourself.

You sir must be a troll. The answer is no, it's not common knowledge especially since the laws here are so confusing that being said, you've received several responses and clear explanations on the subject and instead of saying "oh cool, thanks I learned something new" you've proceeded to imply that some members are unintelligent criminals. perhaps you sir are the unintelligent one, Do you think CSIS and the RCMP would ignore such blatant crimes being broadcast on the internet? Do you think your the moral authority on common sense?"

everyones entitled to say stupid things once in a while, it's only human.

Maybe you should pay attention instead. I already acknowledged their posts and i said i thought they were lying or being smartasses about it as i didnt know you could buy fake silencers. But people are still going on about it ,such as yourself. And yes there are many unintelligent people who would do stupid things such as that on the internet. Do you think gun owners are all highly intelligent people?Cmon' you could do better. And what does "Do you think your the moral authority on common sense?" even have to do with anything?

the moral authority on common sense bit is because you have been calling members here liars, $martasses, criminals and unintelligent, when the only one who has displayed anything close to that level of conduct is you. Yet from your high horse you don't seem aware.

many members here are highly educated professionals as well as members of the law enforcement community and yes scammers and criminals do use this forum but your assertion that they would be so stupid as to post pictures proving criminality, seems ridiculous.
i'm done.

Oh please stop being so dramatic. High horse because I thought someone was lying about fake suppressors? Give it a rest. And yes people do do stupid things on the internet and do incriminate themselves often. You thinking that somehow nobody on this forum would do that is ridiculous. Especially since you have most likely met none of them. Glad you're done.

Regretably sir, should you make a name for yourself here, your stay may be short or no one will want to deal with you, say in the EE or other sub forums.

Charging handle problems

Hi!

I have two charging handles. But one do not rack correctly the bolt carrier. I'm curious to know if my bolt carrier is out of spec or if it is my second Charging Handle. ( the hook seem too short...) see the photo. If someone can measure his milspec harging handle and tel me what is the lengt of the hook I will apreaciated... (From the top flat part to the bottom)

Thank you for your help...

That actually makes no sense. Assuming you have a DI gun, the charging handle will ride over the gas key as well as catch about 1/16th on the BCG. i suppose that the one on the left in the photo could be too short, but still thats strange. can you post a pic of the CH in question riding over the BCG gas key? Not in the rifle obviously. just pull the 2 parts out and put them together how they are supposed to go in the rifle.

I'll play. My pride and joy - sa15.7 lower, IUR upper with spikes tactical nickel boron BCG & BCM Gunfighter CH. Ergo grip (not a fan of the A2). Bushnell 1-4x24 PCL.

This thing shoots like a laser beam. The optic is perfect as well; functions perfectly as a red dot at 1x, and at 4x it does all you could ask for and more with the illuminated BDC reticle.

Hey guys,
I'm slowly working into my first AR. I have just bought an upper off the EE, and I'm waiting for CanAm to have a sale on their DA lowers for a good "starter rifle". While I wait for the lower, there are a few things I want to change on the upper.

Where is the best place in Canada for AR parts? I've been browsing site sponsors and Google with no luck. I'm looking for a quad rail free floating handguard in 9-10". Google continues to turn up an inexpensive rail by UTG, but I can't seem to find one in Canada. Also, at the moment I have no interest in keymod or MLok.

Best place is the EE. You can also check most of the sponsors on CGN, if it says "tactical" in their name, odds are they have what you need for a black rifle.
