Yes, it's just spray paint, however. You can see it coming off the rubber grip and the rubber buttpad. I kind of like it. The more it flakes and chips the more black it will introduce into the pattern. I may consider doing cerakote in the future.

You need a mat clear coat and that wont happen

Trust me there's about 2 cans worth of clear on it. And I soaked/wiped it with lacquer thinner before hand.
Its holding up really well. Only chipping on the rubber and shell deflector.
