I would if I could actually get the adapter to secure onto the saddle mount. Since it's designed for picatinny, the holes are all equidistant and of a certain height. The saddle mount on that 870 is weaver, not picatinny, so the holes don't line up and the screws don't fit through them anyway. You can actually see in the photo that the 870 is completely insecure in that mount.

One day though I'll get a proper pic rail on top of a shotgun and make a proper masterkey.
 
Finally done my lightweight build. Spared no expense. Weight of rifle without optic and mount is 5.5 lbs. Weight with optic and mount is 7 lbs.
