how is the replica aimpoint holding up? I,m thinking of getting one

I hear they hold up fine as long as you dont put them on a 12 guage. I have one and its VERY nice but I havent fired with it yet. Lots of folks have used them on 7.62's with no problems according to the 'for sale' add

1. I refinished my QC311 with GunKote. That blue color paint it had was just a No-No, OD Green on the reciever, Matte Black, on the Barrel and charging handle.

2. Changed out my ACE stock, with a Bushmaster LE entry stock on my M4'gery, Eagle ARMS flattop, everything else is Bushmaster.

Here are some pics of my 11.5" Bushy/Colt: "Killer Bee"

Reminds me more of a bumblebee personally.

"Ooh, Mr.Homer... there seems to be a buzzing noise emitting from your oversized foam cowboy hat. Perhaps you have a bee trapped in there."

This is a nicely painted AR15 that I stumbled across at AR15.com

Aside from the tigerstripe paint job, it looks like a standard LE6920 (with the 16.1" barrel) or a "clone" of one. The collapsible stock is one of the "older" non-ribbed telestocks. The Eotech sight looks to be a 552 model (or variant) and the back up sight looks like and A.R.M.S. #40 (or variant)... Wouldn't be too hard to put something like that together - from components that you could readily find in country...

hsld.

McNasty: can you give us any info on your setup there? It looks rather interesting, like is that a real 40mm?, your lower reciever is "in the white", did you make it? Also, the little hole above the safety might raise some eyebrows in Canada, if you are from here, your profile doesn't say much.
This isn't airsoft is it??

damn your sarcasm!!

Actually the silencer is pretty sweet is a copy of an older design Brugger and Thomet surpressor. Its solid aluminun and takes down into 3 threaded pieces.

heres the new one, come on airsoft is real cool, ----ok maybe not but its a cool silencer.
