Good question...such a tiny little chunk of steel...but it's just so much more appealing to have it !!
The white lettering I couldn't care less about.
But definitely a question I'll be asking when I'm ready to buy !!

Have wanted an AR since I got my license. I was going to wait until after the summer, but that was near impossible and I broke lol. I dropped the cash, and so far I built this. I'm waiting on the upper in the mail now, and need to find some mags.

Your best bet in the mean time is to balance pennies on the hammer and then shoot them in the air and see how accurate you can get with that.

40 mike mike thumper... This is my ultimate AR setup. Have tried everything from decked out, ACOG'd and railed, to bone stock A2 Colts (still have one) you name it, and settled on the A2 16" as my fave, with a H&K 40mm.

The Early A-2's....

were made with the A-1 upper; it's a legitimate Colt A2. They used up the stock of A1 uppers that were on hand before the went to the A2 uppers as the M16A2's they were building for the US "G" had priority...... Cheers.

Actually the crosshairs are straight, it was a matter of dickery to get the camera to the proper eye relief and position, while aiming at something more interesting then the wall. So I would put it to being a photographic artifact. That being said I'll get rid of that pic, it is rather misleading and detracts from such a fine rifle.

It is a colt stock trigger at the moment, I have to build funds again to get a Match trigger, butt it is in the works.
