AR-15's

One day I hope to replace this 1:1 scale model I bought in the 80s with a real SP-1.

Cheers!

Are current Stag 1R's like that... white lettering and no bayo lug??
Good question...such a tiny little chunk of steel...but it's just so much more appealing to have it !!
The white lettering I couldn't care less about.
But definitely a question I'll be asking when I'm ready to buy !!

Edit for spelling...

Have wanted an AR since I got my license. I was going to wait until after the summer, but that was near impossible and I broke lol. I dropped the cash, and so far I built this. I'm waiting on the upper in the mail now, and need to find some mags.

Your best bet in the mean time is to balance pennies on the hammer and then shoot them in the air and see how accurate you can get with that.

Right More Pictures Please :)
This is my most recent build:

The Early A-2's....

were made with the A-1 upper; it's a legitimate Colt A2. They used up the stock of A1 uppers that were on hand before the went to the A2 uppers as the M16A2's they were building for the US "G" had priority...... Cheers.

Did anyone else see the ad the other day for the original SP1 type for $600 in the EE forum?

The wife saw me drooling and #####ed and of course I lost my chance on it.

Still pissed.

 Actually the crosshairs are straight, it was a matter of dickery to get the camera to the proper eye relief and position, while aiming at something more interesting then the wall. So I would put it to being a photographic artifact. That being said I'll get rid of that pic, it is rather misleading and detracts from such a fine rifle.

Ok, just about done now.

Armalite M15A4, 16" HBAR
First Samco G36 Grip
Larue Tactical 9.0 FF handguard
Trijicon ACOG TA31 (Doughnut of Death reticle)
Surefire 9V Frankenlight with Daniel Defense offset mount
Tango Down vertical grip
Magpull rail covers and mag toggles

All that's missing is a Troy BUIS to complete the package
