how do you like the Magpul Butt stock ? Does it offer much of an upgrade from the basic stock.
I like it. It's a great uprade over the A2 stock.

This may be the wrong thread to post on, but will a standard charging handle work with a Piston conversion kit? I'm asking because 1) I'm by NO means even experienced with the AR-15 platform, and 2) While looking up charging handles online, I came across one that said "Not for use with gas piston systems" or something to that effect.
I like being a lil outside the box. Took inspiration from burnt bronze cerakote, but wanted something a little darker, but with a touch of that bling factor still.
I'm liking it, it contrasts real nice with the black I think.
Yes, Most piston conversions would use the the standard charging handle... The "Hook" of the charging handle grabs the striking surface of the bolt where the piston impacts...
The only real different one that comes to mind is the PWS upper recievers - They have the charging handle mounted with the drive rod going through the hole that the gas key normally sits in.
