I have a question about my recently purchased used norinco cq311. I am wanting to change the stock to an adjustable from a fixed. However I hear these early models are metric and the castle nut needs an adapter? I have searched high and low but can't seem to find much information.

Normally this machine sports an Eo-512 on a flattop, MI Buis, and a CMMG Piston System, but today my Clamp On FSB came in I ordered to match the Ol' A1 Upper I scored off the EE. I couldn't help it, busted out the tools and cobbled this Retro-Modern piece together. Damn it's light.
