Unfortunately I have a question that.... well I have no clue.

I bought a Tavor wanting a black rifle that was Non-restricted. Well with recent changes I am thinking I should buy an AR just so I have one.

My confusion is with the fact that so many people are buying expensive lowers.... I see complete ar's for sale for not much more than the lowers. Why is this? I dont see the point of buying a colt lower for $1200 new when I can buy a barely used Colt Ar for $1500.00

Can someone please explain this to me. I just dont get it.

If you see someone asking $1200 for a Colt Canada lower they are over pricing it by a good $300-400

You can buy complete Colt Canada lowers on quite a few gun sites for $800 or if you keep an eye out on the EE for $700-750

On the other hand If you can find a barely used Colt AR for $1500 I would snatch it up! That's a great deal.

You can purchase a stripped lower for very little money in order to be become a member of the AR club.

I would venture to say there are more AR platforms than out there than you would think. Regardless it all adds to the numbers so let it fly!

Well it's made in Canada, so you're basically just paying extra for that. The quality is all pretty much the same.

If you don't care where it was made and just want a colt you can get some pretty cheap lowers if you keep an eye out on the EE
