AR Piston Upper?

Send in the clones... So no one's stocking HK these days? Bizarre...

416 uppers are not supposed to be for civilian consumption, and MR223 uppers won't fit on AR15 lowers. Something to do with German export laws and HK being tightly controlled by the German government as a defense contractor. I think HK got in some trouble when 416 uppers, UMPs, MP7s, and G36s found their way onto the Canadian gray market, so now all defense articles require end user certificates before being purchased by agencies.

The new MR223A1/A3 uppers do from what I recall. I don't think HK got into any trouble as there really weren't that many rifles that made their way onto the Canadian market. It's not like any of the ones in civilian hands are FA anyway...

Maybe you're right. I'm not sure about the newer models.

Blaxsun is correct they do. The first version of MR223 did not. All later versions of production variations did.

They all come with chromelined barrels now. And most of the 416A5 features except the newer adjustable gas block. Mark my words here though the adjustable gas block will come in future models. Not that it is really needed.

Get em well you can guys. I have a bad feeling getting stuff from Germany or Europe may change in the next 5 years if things keep going in the political direction Europe is heading right now. So hk USA might be our main supplier in the future possibly.
HkUSA just expanded there plant recently so that might be a better source in the long term.
