AR triggers

Geisseles all the way here. They're about as drop-in as it gets. If they're too pricey for you then there's not much way around that, but they are definitely worth the money.
 
Geissele automatics 10 minute install.Go to there web site.All the information on there triggers is there ,and all the links for the install information is there to U tube.Pin relates to older colt AR 15 teens.There is a range of triggers,buy one that is suited to your shooting style.
 
Too many reviews sate the Spikes Tactical is really only slightly better than stock.
Why spend $80 to get basically the same trigger.

I went with a Geissele SSA-E.....fantastic. No take up, crisp and light. Quite a few people have tried it at the club, including L/E and Mil. They were going to order one the next day after trying it.

End of story. Just buy the best and get it over with.



as a note: a 2 stage trigger is what is usually used for distance shooting. The first pull is long followed by a short light break. If you go with any natioanl match trigger you will have a 'long' first pull , with a short crisp second. Many reasons for this.

Not sure how good a single stage is going to set-up for you for long shots.

Knowing it's for long(er) range target shooting, a 2-stage trigger really should be the option to look for IMO (as well).

If you are strapped for cash, the Armalite and RRA NM triggers offer excellent 'bang for your buck'.
Most guys throwing in Gieselles are not using them to their potential - 300yd shooting isn't using them to their potential, so the Armalite and RRA triggers will do just fine.
I would not use a Timney in an AR (or any other single stage trigger for that matter). If you are going to spend $250 on one, save a bit more and go with the Gieselle - they are by far the best triggers for ARs out there.
