9mm Largo mags might work. There were several pistols and rifles made to chamber the cartridge and even an SMG (Spanish Star Z-45). I think Llama made 1911 style pistol in that chambering with a 9 round mag...but finding those mags would probably be tough...

I still thinks Decks idea of modding a Tok mag would be easiest.You wold have to use two mags to make one, but it should work nicely if you can find a spring that is long enough...

Deckard is not talking about extending a mag by using a second mag.
In my understanding he is talking about the "+2" extensions.
These are little thinghies that replace the mag floor plate
(on the same principle like the mag extension for tube-mag shotguns).

Yes that is what I understood, and Decks theory is still sound, it's just probably more expensive to fabricate.
Cutting the bottom quarter off an existing Tok mag, removing the base plate (or cutting it off -I don't have a Tok mag so I don't know how it's assembled) then welding the bottom portion to the top mag would make a MUCH easier solution and probably a lot cheaper than fabricating a "+2"....It may take some careful measuring and trial and error (duct Tape is your friend) but this should work just fine, given you can find a suitable spring, and who knows, perhaps the existing spring would work just fine...
Maybe I'm wrong...but Tok mags can be found fairly cheap...

Even if we could order that out of the states, that is a little pricey. 7.62x25 isn't that cheap compared to .223. For CAN$900 I can get 2000 rounds of PMC out of a Quebec dealer.
I have a case of 7.62x25 for my Tokarev and I welcome a conversion upper for my AR, but I ain't buyin if it costs a grand by the time it gets to my house.
