I have ran my Carbon 15 for nearly 3 years now with no problems,NO FTF,NO FTE...runs top notch. Avoid the conversion kits as they are finicky and require a substantial amount of tuneing and fitting to function reliably,have seen very few conversions run well at all. Dedicated lower is the only way to go IMO.
That being said, if you get a Bushmaster spend a few bucks and upgrade the upper rec. to aluminum version. The Carbon upper will eventually fail you in the barrel nut area as they can not take the extra force provided by the nearly twice the weight bolt compared to .223 BCG. hitting it. They are available at reasonable price from almost everywhere.
