Oooooooo... Confidence high!
I'll claw my way to the middle of AM...

I received my confirmation moments ago...

August in Ky... It's gonna be warm. :)

Well, someone has to try and put Horner, Butler and the rest in their place.

Good to see I'm not the only one who got in.
Hopefully some of the others had success as well.

Now to learn how to shoot.........

Well after alot swearing and my mouse does not work anymore.Kept on saying enter to soon. Finally got a conformation number but have heard nothing yet as this morning.

I received my confirmation email/code abot an hour after sign up opened... #39
Linda mentiond on Enos that it was getting on to midnight in her neck of the woods so I imagine she hit the hay and will continue processing data today...

keep on checkin' yer email :)

many slots will open up today.
a number of people (such as myself) would have entered into both the Pro and Am match to try and at least get into one.
as they let Linda know which they will be shooting, the the next person on the list will get a registration code.

Oh, and the system didn't activate till about 9:32 or so.
Was nerve racking for everyone.
I think I broke my mouse.

Well did not get in on waiting list,f**k up system.

Everyone who didn't get "in" should be on the wait list...

Contact Linda... She's the awesome.

There are a few reasons why you may not have received an email..

To quote Linda offa Enos:

If you did not get an email message, please send me the name you used for sign in (email to LChico@msn.com). I have a number of bounced back emails. These are emails that look correct (24 total), but will not deliver. Might be a typo, or a firewall issue.

Pauls, I guess you'll be putting a scope on for this match???

yeah, I'll have to buy a scope and get used to cheating... I mean using optics.
LOL

Not sure which way to go though.
You have the top end options like the Swaro and S&B, awesome glass, daylight visible dot, but over $2k
or maybe the Meopta K-dot for around the $900 mark
I'd like to take a look through the Burris MTAC and see what the reticle looks like.

Many manufacturers are starting to cater to the 3 gun market so there are some interesting optics in the pipeline so I don't want to spend too much right now.
Leupold will be releasing their 1-6 with a 32 or 34mm tube, second focal plane reticle. should be a pretty decent scope.
But I need to start practicing so I'll have to decide and get something within the next month or so.

Anyone have any advice?
Or have any of the above that I can take a look through?

If i already didn't have a scope or have gone through 3 different ones....
i'd go with
http://horusvision.com/blackbird.php
or the new Leupy (may be waiting awhile though)

banger,
That horus has a pretty busy reticle.
I'll take a closer look at it though.

7.62, the leupold is supposed to be true 1x
I just looked at a youtube vid and actually having second thoughts about the reticle.

Onagoth,
not sure if the magnifier has to be on at all times or not.
would it be considered reconfiguring your equipment?
not sure if I've come across it in discussions or rules. may want to check sooner rather than later.

right now I'm thinking the Meopta is hard to beat, as long as my loads will mimic the markings of the reticle.
Either that or I just use irons.

I was thinking that....but really, on or off, it doesn't bump me into open. Besides, I don't think the RO's would know. Mine would be mounted with quick detach, taking it off isn't any different than a flip mount where it stays attached

Also, removing a mangifier isn't any different than dialing a scope down to 1x either.

Gonna double check right now though
