It took 2 days for an email to roll out to me after the rifle was shipped. Check your junk email because it got sent to my junk mail as well.

Just got off the phone with Neil who was super helpful, he told me they do infact have a replacement rifle waiting for me; Some canadapost issues have caused the delay, as they were unable to find my rifle when they went in to look for it. Typical CP. Either way it's being handled and I will keep people updated with my progress

You got an answer in the phone?? What's your secret?

It has been 7 days and haven't seen anything on my statement yet???
I just bought a used SKS-KD from Ellwood's and it takes AK mags.. So I feel better now
Sorry guy's I thought you would like a chuckle and some cheering up...:):)

Is it a depression in the ground? Or could it be the door to a secret tunnel with even more fabulous riches from captain kid? Or even more amazing, could the ark of the covenant be buried in TI's back yard beneath the type81 shipping container?

One more bent rifle will have to be shipped before the curse of the type 81 can be broken and the treasure found... Tune in next week when Nick will reveal that Q1 2018 has slipped to Q2...

yup.

So when was the last time someone had shipping confirmation? Last thursday? What happened to working all weekend to finish them up?

What someone else in another thread said made a lot of sense " they said 90% would be shipped out so people didn't cancel orders and buy from tenda as they had them in stock and for sale thurs"

ok tomorow is the day I used a oujii board and the spirits talked to me and the only thing I asked is when is the notice comming

Bent Rifle Demons...

you dont need to break the box to damage the rifle. Without proper cushion, a slam bang to the truck floor or warehouse concrete ground could cause slightly "bent" and shoots will go way off 100 yards away.

I really doubt this, if that was the case how on earth would they ever withstand combat?

I wish I can just be done with it and move on with my life. But my love for type 81 is strong and it keeps me in this frustrating wait.

All my rifles purchased previously came with proper suspension though, either in pre-cut foam or thick cardboard frame to suspend the rifle and prevent it from direct contact to the outer wall of the packaging box.

My SG542 came packed the exact same way, industrial zap straps around cardboard.

They couldn't. The other poster's speculation that a box falling to the ground could BEND the rifle inside while the box itself is undamaged is ridiculous.

The reason some of these are bent seems to be because of how the trunnions were riveted to the receivers. Some were riveted properly (aligned), others weren't (misaligned). This will then determine whether or not the rifle is straight or bent.

Here's an example of trunnion riveting, done by a guy who's not a slave laborer in a mass production factory (lol) :
