Are another 30,000+ surplus P6's (SIG P225-type) about to go civilian?

WOW!! I just looked at the TSE page. Some of those look pretty nice... but like everyone else, I am not wild about the price. I paid less than that (less than the $999 ones) for a brand new 239 with SRT and three mags. Granted I got a good deal on the 239 and they can't be had for that price anymore, but the price looks a bit steep on those 225's.
Can one of the guys from TSE please chime in and tell us a bit about these 225's? Where are they from? Were they refinished at SIG in New Hampshire or somewhere else? They don't appear to be German police surplus P6's, but I could be wrong. If they are newer 225's that have seen little use, the price might end up making a bit more sense. These do not have that "deforming notch" (or whatever they call it, the cut made in the hammer that the German P6's have) ... which is good, as I don't see that as a desirable feature anyway.
Those appear to be Bar-Sto barrels, which is a quality barrel. Those would retail for around $250 alone in Canada - but have you really got $500 worth of gun there, plus paperwork and some profit for the seller? I don't begrudge anyone making a dollar, but these can't be much more than a $300 gun with a $250 barrel. If I am wrong, I'm fine with being corrected.

I'm not sure why we need to explain ourselves, but for starters we did not buy a sea container worth of guns. Next as you point out we needed to buy a rather expensive replacement barrel. Finally, we inspected the guns, replaced parts as required and refinished several. The price is the price.
As for the gun's history, they started as Swiss Police guns, they are P225s and not P6s. I may have a chance to get another small lot in the spring, but that is uncertain. The fact that other dealers have not offered the imaginary $500 version should tell you something about the realities of dealing with these guns. In any even, they are half gone now, if you want one I would recommen reacting quickly.
You don't have to explain yourself. This is an anonymous discussion forum where gun owners come to seek information and share ideas. If you choose not to provide information about the products you are selling, that is up to you.
And yet the information shared is often wrong or incomplete and the inferences drawn often insulting.
You yourself suggest that it is a $300 gun and $250 barrel. Yet, the price I have seen on US sites was $300US and a Bar Sto barrel extended and threaded costs about $240US. So, you suggest inaccurately that this makes it worth $550 in Canada when at today's exchange rate that would more accurately be closer to $700Cdn. And of course nobody really expects a dealer to make money selling these right?
I really don't want to take sides in this as I have no horse in this race, but if I paid $300 for the SIG P6 (German police gun... now they are all more like $350) and $180 for the extended barrel, plus factor in the exchange rate I think I said it comes up to ~$550 just to make it Canada legal. No fees or anything else included in the price.

After fees that an importer/distributor has to cover and normal upcharge, this price of $800 does not surprise me at all.
Hell, my local dealer had charged $200 extra on top of his price for a new Glock 17 I bought off of him back in 2005
My $25k car had an upcharge of $200 over the dealer invoice (after some ferocious bargaining)
