Are any AR-15-style rifles NOT restricted?

Wolverine sells the XCR. There are also other dealers in Manitoba and SK that sell them too. The Dillon distributor for Canada (sorry I don't know the name) had two at the show and two en-route for $2399.99 a piece. If you live out side of MB/SK there's only GST on that.

Sometimes they go on EE for $2000.00.
 
I ordered an XCR from The Shooting Edge in Calgary on Thursday and received it today. It's gorgeous! Not sure if it was their only one but certainly worth a call to find out. They are even offering free shipping and you gotta love AB for having no PST :)

Cool. How long is the barrel? What did it come with? Have any pictures?

I believe the barrel is 18.6" and the gun appears exactly like the pictures on Wolverine's website. It came with MI (presumably Midwest Industries) flip-up iron sights which surprised me because XCR's website addresses the rifle not being sold with any sights in the FAQ section. I was not expecting them but am happy they're there!

Also, Wolverine has LAR mags in stock and I ordered a couple from them. They're a couple bucks more than other places I called but they had inventory and their CSR was very pleasant and knowledgeable, so I was happy to send a little business their way.
 
Don't forget about the FS2000. Questar is bringing some in non-restricted now.

I'm leaning towards battlestar galactica.ish Can you really honestly picture yourself out hunting with that thing... be honnest now.:D

I'll take the FS2000 rabbit shooting sometime next year for sure.;) I've never hunted large game before so I'm not too sure about shooting a deer with a 5.56 round. At least not yet. But, if the RFB gets here, and is non-restricted I WILL be hunting with that.:eek: This is so exciting.
