LOL...apparently you don't know much about sheep draws in Alberta
I admit the thread has gone more or less off topic but you seemed to indicate that going from a open to an LEH hunt in the case of Alberta sheep would only be of minor inconvenience to you and not particularly reduce your odds of hunting sheep. That would suggest that at least at this stage, the odds of getting a draw for the management unit which you hunt is pretty high.
To get back to inlines, my impression from posts a year or so ago, is that deer are very abundant in Ontario for example where there is a muzzle loading season and that the odds of shooting a deer were very good regardless of what you used. In such a case the definition of muzzle loader is of minor importance because most people are going to get a deer. By contrast, in a place like Vancouver Island rifle only areas, the odds of shooting a deer are relatively poor and the presence or absence of a muzzle loading season can have a significant impact on the odds of a person shooting a deer. The existence of a special season in part does not exist because of the perceived long range of inline muzzle loaders. (special seasons are also unlikely to be re introduced because the BCWF opposes any form of special seasons)
