Our local CT has none of the Swiss rifles and the gun counter chap has never heard of them.
He suggested that I consider a Mossberg 270 instead..

Excellent data, I will be sure to pass this on to my friends and save this on my hard drive for when I start reloading GP-11 (going to be doing GP 90/23 soon though).
Wholesale hasnt had any for some time.
Use 80% of any trustworthy Max Load listed for the 7.5x55 for the older GP90/23 ammo loads in whichever appropriate rifle powder you have and bullet weight.
Don't bother trimming 7.5x55 cases down to 53.5mm, 54mm or 54.5mm when using copper jacket bullets.
Because Simpson's buys a hell of a lot at the major shows in Switzerland.
Was that the Welland store? I've been saving my Canadian tire money for a k31. Now that I have enough I can't find any. :/
Calgary shooting center has a good supply, as well as ammo.
They will be never be a rare item, but the price will most certainly go up.
I missed them when they were plentiful a few years ago.Nice ones were selling for $295.00 ,now they are $495.00.
WSS in Winnipeg had rifles and ammo for $299 not long ago, but I haven't checked lately.
