Are there any Hunting rifles with Iron Sights anymore?

Remington 750 has iron sites, wood or synthetic versions available in 308 or 30-06. Works fine for me.

but yeah, it fits his criteria to a T. it even comes in .30-06 and .308, and $630 isnt so bad for one.

id recommend something like a remington or ruger but by the time he gets iron sights installed on it itll be over a grand.

I prefer a ghost ring to an open sight (you can't please everyone) but NECG makes a very nice one that is fully adjustable.

Ruger is now offering those compact bolt rifles with factory irons (both wood and sythetic).....I would get one right away if they offered any in one of the more conventional calibres

The CZ 550 sight is not listed on NECG's web page, but if you call them they have them ready to go. This sight will work on all Brno and CZ commercial rifles made post war. I just bought one for a friend a couple of weeks ago for his H-21 and it came to about $90 Cdn in hand.

You can't please everyone, for years you couldn't get them to leave the sights off. If a person is a serious iron sight shooter they don't want the crap that comes on almost all rifles out of the box anyway. And iron sights are super specific, say close range action games, general use, long range, villey fire etc...

I'm with you on that one. If they were in a calibre like .308win or .358win, I'd be all over one (or two).

i have a remington 7600 synthetic in 30-06 it came with iron sight but i swithed the front to a truglow green front sight and put a williams peep sight on the back it's a mean brush gun now
