no is the short answerI have read a few different posts on this. I just bought a new GSG 1911. Are they still prone to breaking the guide rod? Anything else I should be aware of?

^ 1.50 at hardware store. Not even worth wasting time trying to get a free one....
For you guys with the high round counts are there issues with the slide lock mis-forming the notch, that's one of the few bad things I've heard about these.
My Buffer disk when kaboom-squishy after approx. 1000 rds.... I emailed BLueLine, they said they'd send out replacment that day..... 2 weeks went by , nothing..... I re-sent email, and was advised that there was restructuring and a new division of BlueLine was handling warranty..... so I resent email AGAIN to the new address, asking to be contacted re: replacement parts, still nothing..... maybe third time lucky?? All I know is that the GSG is a wonderfully FUN gun, when its working so I hope to get mine fixed soon 8-(
