Aridus Imperium Handguard for 1301T

$30 more than MSRP stateside after exchange doesn't seem unreasonable to me?

Still think I'd rather the LTT Labyrinth shield for the price.

Worst part was trying to get the collar that mates up the handguard and the receiver to line up perfectly so the handguard sits all the way in. (took like 10 mins of fiddling around cause it’s such a tight fit) Otherwise was pretty easy to install. Now to decide whether I want to put an eotech or a red dot on it. Then a flashlight.

F UCK! IT LOOKS AWESOME! I'm going to bite the f ucking bullet, I hate to, but f uck me if that isn't a great handguard.
I'll most likely block off the mlok with the magpul product. If I do, do you believe there is enough room for the b-link system to breathe/exhaust? The OEM forend has louvered venting.

Mine has some issues with the action cycling smoothly by hand once installing the handguard. might have gotten a bad one lol. top of the barrel on the receive side is also maybe 3 hairs thick before contacting the barrel. let me know if anyone else has this issue. Haven't ranged tested it yet, but it feels like the action is hung up either on the collar or something inside the handguard.

Make sure any attachments onto the Mlok slots do not protrude. Sometimes the screws protrude too far.
If it is still a problem, call and I will see if we can help.

So I went for another range trip, the handguard has some interference issues with the blink system, it bricks it near the rear collar area closest to the receiver. Causes the rifle to not cycle because the spring enclosed in the plastic carrier gets hung up by the rails being pinched. As soon as I took the handguard off and replaced it with my toni or stock it functioned fine. Wonder if anyone else or I just got a bad one.

Your situation sucks bro. You've spent a fair penny on the handguard only to not have it work for you...understand they do work though. Something is either wrong with the handguard (unlikely), or the install. The most probable explanation is the handguard is slightly deformed during either packing, shipping, or installation. It is an aluminum tube afterall.

I did notice a slight gap, and the top slightly scrapes the barrel. I think it was machined a little too thick in some spots.

I'd be sending it back if it were mine. Too much spent for it not to be perfect. You are paying for perfection, it's why they charge what they do.
