I sent Arken an email on the weekend asking clarification on how they handle Canadian warranties. Heard nothing but crickets so far. I'm kinda in the market for one, but if I can't get a straight answer from anyone it'll likely be a deal breaker.
Here's Arkens warranty: No warranty cards to fill out, no receipts to hang on to, and they are fully transferable from one generation to the next. Simple as that!
For some reason, the warranty is different in Canada? This is from one Canadian retailer (happens to be a sponsor): For Arken products: Limited Lifetime Warranty to original purchaser with proof of Serial number or receipt.
And no clarification on whether the retailer handles the warranty or whether it goes somewhere else! A Vortex is starting to look like a better option. At least I can send it straight to them if I have an issue. And I know, it's a great warranty that I'll likely use, but it's going on a range only toy and I'm hopeful.
