Armalite AR180B Frequently Asked Questions, revised Dec. 26/07

So here's a question I never thought of asking until a guy at the range asked me it yesterday. Does Armalite actually produce the bravo or is it made by different companies like the AR-15?

Cheers

The Armalite AR180B is made by, guess who? Armalite.

Vulcan Arms has an AR18 sort of rifle that adds an aluminum lower and FN style stock. I've never heard much of it but the word on the street is Vulcan = crap.

There were a couple mounts for the early Ar-18/180. One had integral 1"rings which allowed a very limited scope choice, the other had an integral low power compact scope like the early Colt scopes but with an inverted reticle.

Should we as AR-180B owners be concerned about Armalites reclassification
of the original Canadian unrestricted version to the -2 version as they call it
now as our registrations reflect the old numbering in reguards to a possible
weapons seizure if inspected.Does or has the CFC a clear understanding of this
and should we have the -2 added to these older guns and reregistered to
avoid any future misunderstandings.--thanks--Dieseldog!!!
