armored guard revolver

@Corey3...

You know what dude... most people are smart... most criminals aren't.

I for one dont believe in educating the dumb criminals. But yet people dont seem to care for their own lives.

I work in the industry... and I prefer s#!T like this NOT floating around the net. It just makes it this little bit more easier for some dumba$$ to figure it out.

And IF you've been in the industry and are posting what people carry... than you're just as DUMB.

A) NDA
B) putting other peoples lives in danger
C) giving the Antis one more thing to complain about.

Also just a note... but 6 rounds well placed can be more usefull than 10 rounds flying all over the place ;)

OMG you are not some covert CIA ####en agent man. And I really don't care what you prefer you don't set the rules on this site or anywhere else on the net.

Go to google images, type in Brinks guard, look at the FIRST picture and wtf do you think she is carrying a rifle on her belt or revolver. All it takes is the internet and google.

http://images.google.ca/images?hl=en&q=brinks guard&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi

Now go to Churchill Armoured Car's website and look at the picture and low and behold yes even on the COMPANY website they advertise for all the world to see what they are carrying.

whats more impertant is that there is a boat load of paperwork involved, and the spaces are way to small for someone like my self who has dysgrapya, truoble writing, cant write.

i just want to know because im planing to apply for armor guard, thanks for the information.

umm have you checked out the pay? Its really not so good, particularly considering you are putting your life on the line. When I interviewed with Brinks a few years ago it was a few dollars above minimum wage, I passed.

Does it really matter what gun you carry? This has nothing to do with anything.

I also work in the industry...I don't think it matters if the "bad guys" know what we carry. It ain't gonna make any diffirence. There still gonna be 'bad guys" no matter what!?!

I do agree with you are saying...the less they know the better.

Its a pretty damn boring job too.
You're basically an underpaid UPS man with a cowboy gun.
I wanted to rip my hair out some days.

yeah they don't pay much.. is like $14-18 hr, just want to give a try.

HAAAHAHA who wonts to work for $12 taking the chance of getting shot by a scum bag ? Only a wont a be cow boy. Just go drive a regular truck driving job and make a few bucks more without getting shot at.

Pretty sure even a dumb criminal will know what a revolver is and that chances are it will only have 6 shots. I don't think telling them what model it is will make much of a difference, unless they just want pics of it.

Luke,
Your secret squirrel mentality is humorous. The ever so valuable information you're attempting to conceal is of no value at all. Anyone with an I.Q. over 24 is more than capable of determining that the issued firearm is a six shot revolver. Calibre, make, model, age, finish, etc etc are of no concern. What's more important is the knowledge that 99% of those who work for an armoured car company are incompetent with their firearms and have near zero situational awareness. Coupled with the fact that many employees that work during the day(being union the senior guys get first choice at shifts) are one step in the grave with poor or failing eye sight and bowels to match. Robbing an armoured car is not a difficult task. Not getting caught is the hard part.

Seeing how you're so concerned with "putting others lives at risk" I suggest you focus your efforts on better equipment, better training, and some better employees before you waste your time protecting useless information such as what pistol is issued. As far as "giving the antis one more thing to complain about" your way off course. The Antis are concerned about citizens with firearms, not those who use firearms in a "professional" capacity such as armoured car companies, law enforcement and the military.

Your last statement is the portion of your post I find truly amusing. The mentality that 6 well placed shots are better than X number of misses is only partially correct. It is somehow perceived that if one is using a firearm with a greater capacity than a revolver that somehow the operator is of little or no skill and incapable of placing their shots. I'm a big fan of math. My math says having 10,15,17 rounds available before necessitating a reload trumps 6 rounds. No matter how hard you try, 6 will never be better than 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15...... Only hits count, and based on the "skills" I've witnessed and the image above, I see 6 well placed misses..

Ferchrissakes!! Don't make this a career. Apply, have fun, and QUIT the minute the novelty of carrying a gun subsides. Like stated earlier, your an underpaid UPS guy.

I just figured that

in situations of legal ambiguity, or situations that may lead to legal risk exposure for www.canadiangunnutz.com

Since all employees in the industry have signed a NDA and therefore are violating it by discussing it... I just figured a lot of people claiming "I worked for X and we carry X" are violating that. Just figured it wasn't something to be discussed.

im sorry I retract all previous statements.

As for the Anti statement... I was referring to them thinking that if we can't be trusted with information, we sign NDA agreements for, how can we be trusted with fire-arms. As they are more than eager to have A/C workers carry papper spray or whatnot (insert Ghey)

PS. It's "Secret super agent" and I like to be addressed as SIR, or Your Highness :p ;)

Luke,

Come on, for real. You're concerned with how or what the antis believe?? Here's a tidibt regarding your NDA. Our own government can't keep its mouth shut, our own government steals from the people and brags about it. I'm sure the discussion of what is or is not issued/carried by armoured car company employees is less than low on anyones radar. Its not a national secret. Furthermore, why would the antis give a rats as$ if you publicized information? The company would be more concerned than the anti gun movement. Its not their lives at risk and the chances of them affecting your ability to carry on the job is next to zero.

You think the taliban dont know all about C7s?

You think that makes them more dangerous?

Come on man.

Hell we are giving them away out there. (To the ANA anyway)

Everyone can see you are carrying a wheelgun anyway.

The security you provide is not so much from your gun as it is from your team anyway.

Besides. Dont worry. I hear you are upgunning to MP 40s!

lol

I'm looking forward to being issued my MP 40.
