Been planning this build for quite a while now and I just got it in the mail this morning from Rick and the crew over at Alberta Tactical Rifles. To do a full on detailed build would have been way too much for the wallet so I built it as close as I could with the money I had and with true Mil-Spec components:

USMC return stock - woodlands camo with matching bottom metal
Remington 700 Police .308 receiver
Remington trigger (old style) - 2.5lbs
Mike Rock barrel 1in10 USMC contour
Nightforce 3.5-15x50 MLR reticle with mil turrets
Badger 30mm rings
Nightforce 20MOA scope mount
ATRS recoil lug
MRT sling

I am VERY picky with any kind of precision work and Rick has done a beautiful job with my rifle. Now I gotta take it out and see what it can do on the range. Thank you Rick and crew! :D

Your's looks really good! Congrats on a cool looking stick!

Cheers, Carl

Thanks Carl....this is my second M40 style stick. This is my first one and its an Ed Begg custom that has the best of everything. Shoots bug holes and I love it. Its wearing a S&B 3.5-12x50 now so yeah I needed this second one like a hole in the head:rolleyes: But when the stock fell in my lap I had to do it with the limited money I had for a second one.

While not widely known PGWDTI designed and produced the M40 accessory rail for the USMC sniper rifle. It is installed on every one of them in current service. For a current service clone to be compliant it would have to include this item....;-)

It mounts the NV unit and the PEQ.
