My problem has been light primer strikes. Two different kinds of ammo. 4-5 shots then light strikes. Took out bcg and work bolt some, fired another few then light strikes again. Haven't tried again since disassembling bcg, cleaning all parts and lubing up wet, as I hear that's how they like to run.
I'm not that experienced in the gas systems so this is just a guess, but could light strikes and blown out primers both be the result of the bolt face not being seated tightly enough to the base of casing? One symptom is that firing pin doesn't reach as far as it needs to, and in other cases allows explosion of powder to try to exit rearward? If this were the case is this a head spacing issue? Again, just thinking of what makes sense to me not knowing the gas system that well.
