ATRS modern hunter?

Without bipod and a medium(?) weight barrel? That is great for a 308.

The Fortis quick detach forend is super light, not sure why you would need it to come off that easily but it's kinda neat anyway. Combined with the CF wrapped barrel and there isn't much weight out front.

If/when I find a good accurate load for it this rifle may become my go-to field rifle for predator/deer hunting. The more I read about 6.5 Creedmoor the more I like it.

After taking off the JP handguard I can understand the appeal of a QD. But once is goes back on it will probably stay on. Then again there are a lot of options. And nine pounds! I really can't wait to get that new barrel on her now! She's going on a diet next set of days off! She's over 12lbs right now.
