As the title say. I am curently confused about an atrs build that will not cycle anymore.
Once the rifle was completed, I went out and tested it. It ran good for about 80 rounds then the gas block came loose by the heat and moved forward out of aligment.
I ordered a dimpling jig to secure the gas block.
Tried the rifle again but this time the rifle will not cycle at all. Tried the gas block in the old position (all the way back) to see if the rifle would cycle but it did not. I fumbled with it some time but finally resigned. The gun is a single shot
Tried to blow air into the tube, no obstruction
the bolt looks fine and the key is not loose.
Rifle spec : faxon gunner 5.56, stag arms nickel boron BCG, BCM low profile gas block.
Any suggestions or recommendation for a gunsmith ?
****Problem solved. There was obstruction into the gas key****
