ATTN: All Alberta restricted firearms transfers please read.

I just checked they have all my current information and have had so for quite awhile. Should there not be a place when you LogIn to your
Personal Web Page that states that they have received a transfer notice from a realtor concerning your purchases ? As I have 3 purchases from 3 different retailers , 1 in Alberta and 2 in Ontario . On my Order from Alberta it says Awaiting Transfer . On the 2 in Ontario 1 says CFO Transfer Pending . The other says restricted submitted . So what does it all mean ? Should I not be able to see that on the my CFP web page ?
Thanks Very Much
Leavenworth
Uh oh, I wonder how many emails will go to spam?

Anyone got the email addy they send from so folks can check their spam folders?

Cheers
Jay

Log into the CFP website and check your information. If you don't have an email address on file then add it.

government jobs enjoy all those FREEBIES you expect others to pay for,gun owners shouldn't have to pay for the most garbage government system out there, firearms system is antiquated, and we shouldn't pay a dime for it,now if they want to give an option of same day service for a fee, that's a different story, but the word is OPTION,not mandatory.

No clue what you mean, but you seem quite emotional about this topic and all over the place with your comments.

If you want to change the system good stuff, don't just call it garbage. Add something to the discussion.

What would you do differently given the current legislation?

simple a OPTIONAL One day transfer for a small fee.again OPTIONAL,no fees for normal transfers, your idea of forcing everybody to pay a fee to transfer something that should be able to be done online by licensed owners themselves is stupid,we put enough money in the system from our hobby,we dont need to give those government slackers more,

So how does that fix things now? There is a lack of resources and lack of workers, both of which cost money.

So where should the money come from? What is a real solution other than saying taxes are too high and government workers are lazy?

How would you fix the current system?

every government department is bloated with employees who hardly do anything all day,i'm sure the CFO's office could de the same, maybe take some of that money we throw at other countries and use some at home,LOL.

Wow you sure got me. You are obviously the smartest guy on here, you should be running the country. Your solutions would solve everything.

Please run for office. All us dumb people of Canada need your leadership.

Does this include imports as well? I have an import order that I want to get in the county asap but its said "Shipping and Taxes paid, waiting on export to Canada" for the past week and I bit, I thought the shipment was suppose to go out on the 15th of every month.

The systems is not going anywhere sadly. But private transfers should at least pay a nominal fee. This fee would provide more funding for the firearms programs which would ideally speed things up. Pay your fair share!

^^^^^

At first, I thought you might've been playing Devil's Advocate, but you are being sincere, aren't you? Pay your fair share? We're vetted daily. Why do we even have to have our restricteds registered anyways? It ain't about safety. Handgun registration started in 1934! In the subsequent 92 years crime hasn't gone away. You know what has gone away though? Our rights! T

True Jebus, your insistence on paying more into a system that is demonstrably ineffective and cumbersome tells me that you like being granted "privileges" because you don't believe in "rights" for your fellow citizens. Sad.

Still not a solution to our current situation. Changing all the laws would be great, but it is not going to happen.

What can be done to the current system to improve it?

Stop the tantrums and diatribes about taxes and rights. What is a solution based in reality and not how you think it should be?

yes,he's obviously a newbie who knows nothing but thinks he's so smart, typical millennial,LOL.

Not a millennial, not even close.

I am really starting to feel like one of the only ones on here that lives in reality.

All the talk here is taxation and perceived rights and freedoms, and its not rooted in reality.

Repeating buzz words and nonsense over and over does nothing to address the problems with the system.

Constructive discussion helps with that, as do differences of opinion. I don't see much of either on here.

Then see ya all later.
