My experience, in AB, this month, was; I had to obtain a one day ATT in order to take the item home.
Strange. When I bought my last restricted (3 weeks ago) I was told that my LTATT is a BLANKET authorization for any restricteds in Alberta. The CFO here sees no need (some common sense at last!!) to have a LTATT for each firearm or purchase.
BTW, to get an LTATT, it took about 10 minutes from when I ended the call to the CFO's office to when the LTATT showed up on the fax machine.
