Well just recieved my NR & R APC 223!!!!!

BIG THANKS TO WS FOR GETTING THESE IN.

The's things are absolutely amazing. The bolt literally feels like it's sliding on ball bearings.
The ambi controls makes this rifle perfect for either left or right handed shooters.

The NR 18.5" version really isn't as heavy as I was expecting it to be. It definitely feels lighter then my old ACR DMR rifle.

Comes with a full and complete cleaning kit. Nicest kit I have ever seen with a rifle (comparable to a SAN kit)

I ended up adding the QD stubby storage vert grip for both rifles. Just prefer the look better of these ones then the original ones they come with.

Here are some unboxing pics:

Restriced:

Non Restricted:

And some drum goodness:

A cool feature with the BUIS is that even when folded down they have pistol like sights built into the top of the folded sights:

All in all this might be one of the best made rifles I have ever handled.
I'll be taking the NR one put tomorrow for a spin so I'll report back to here with how it performed

The shorty version points so damn well. Im really liking it.

And the NR version I would say feels better/lighter then a full size Swiss Arms rifle. It's not too front heavy and still swings nicely.

Wow. Beautiful.
Kinda shocked it already has the UN marking.
Guess it's good in a way as its done at the factory and saves all the hassle.

Thats just the thing tho. That does not qualify for our UN Regs. Our UN regs stipulate that they must be marked in the first 60 days after clearing CBSA. So next batch will have double markings. ;)

Almost jumped to the pump when I saw the one for sal that wanstalls posted. I'd like to see all the nicest non restricted black rifles first. The acr dmr is nice but I don't like the front heaviness of it. Does the apc feel like more quality vs an acr?

Absolutely not!!!!!!

This is not a UN marking in any way shape or form. Please do not let it be confused for one.
If you are referring to the serial number, that is how B&T serialize there firearms, if you are talking about the Wolverine Claw, that was a very nice touch done by our friends at B&T for us. B&T have always started their serial number with their country code designation and the last two digits of the year, this is their standard practice and was in place before the UN marking regulations came into effect. It remains to be seen if this would be accepted as a UN marking as it has been applied before importing and the UN marking must be applied with in 60 days after leaving CBSA.

I don't want to derail the thread but my understanding is as long as it has the markings then it meets the reg. That stipulation is only if it fails to have the requisite marking. That's my opinion after reading the regs and will likely need further clarification for importers to know for sure

There is a thread in Wolverine vendor's forum specifically on markings.
