B&t apc 223 pic thread-range report page 4

something in my pants tingles.......where did you get that drum??? Must have strength not to buy as must buy new house first due to over flow of guns and gun related "things"....

Flip! Too many ###y non restricted rifles popping up. Was thinking hard on an acr but apparently acr has crappy company support from all the videos I've watched. Modern varminter or this b t apc anybody help me make up my mind?? I think accuracy reports will also help me figure it out lol

Bfiles - What's the cheek weld like on these with the Aimpoint installed or running the irons? Seems a little low from the pic....?

Cheek weld with the aimpoint is perfect. Iron sights when up is a bit more of a chin weld. Not bad or unbearable but not as comfy as it is with the sights down or aimpoint mounted with no riser.

Got the drum mag from IRG. Good price at the time
.
Total weight I can't tell ya ad I don't have a scale. My guess is around 9lbs tho

What do you think scope height would be like?

Just got back from the range.

Range report- 300 rnds and NOT 1 single malfunction. Worked flawless.
It's a very soft shooter very minimal recoil. Followup shoots are fast and accurate while using the Aimpoint.

Pistol style sights on top of the BUIS when folded down (lol) are actually almost dead on and feels more comfy shooting the sights like that then with the BUIS up.

Here is a target from 50y just to sight in the Aimpoint:

First 2 shots to the bottom right were as soon as I mounted the micro.
Then the left of those were a 5 shot group after some adjustment.
Another adjustment were the 2 shots tonthe bottom right of bullseye.
And the last 5 groups were just above/ on bullseye (once the micro was sighted in)

Again this was at 50y just resting my elbows on the table.

I'm sure with magnification, bipod and a proper bench rest this thing could easily be sub MOA

Once sighted in all I did was bang steel and run & gun afterwards so no more targets were really used.

Trigger on it is outstanding. Anyone who says trade it out for a Gieselle, wouldn't be much of an improvement.

Next weekend I'll test out the restricted

Very nice rifles, and Thanks for the range report looks promising and glad to hear about the trigger mine shows up this week seems the wait was worth it. Thanks bfiles

What kind ammo were you using bfiles? Were they handloads?

Just using PMC xtac 55g

Bfiles, beautiful rifles. What the weight on the NR?

About 9lbs or so. Feels lighter then my old SAN rifle

That's good to hear. I do plan on trying mine in the APC when it gets here, but don't have a burning desire to throw $3-400 more at this gun for a minimal improvement.

I'd say no need to install a new trigger. Wait till you try it out yourself then you will see
