B&t apc 223 pic thread-range report page 4

My X95 is 9.1 Lbs
My ACR is 9.2 Lbs

Thats with Aimpoint PROs , empty mags and all my accessories on it. I could drop a few more ounces by switching out my PROs for T2's but I dont see that happening...

The only way to drop 2 lbs of weight on the ACR is making it restricted...lol... But that turns it into a useless paperweight.

9.6 Lbs as pictured

5.10oz 10 trigger pull average

Love the sights, Love the weight, handles just like my ACR but the APC handguard is a bit slimmer which is nice.

Build quality is very similar to RA XCR. Not as front heavy. Mini ACOG is just about right. Trigger is very good, similar to top tier AR.

This thing would've been perfect with 14" barrel.

WTF are you talking about with build quality same as XCR!?!?
I guess yours was the best xcr ever made then

Grabbed mine today...Stuck the venom on it, as its the absolute lowest optic I had kicking around. Actually has a good cheek weld. As bfiles said, the BUIS flipped up are even too high. Going to hold off for stock options.

But, it feels awesome, well balanced, extremely good fit and finish, and easy takedown. Not getting rid of this anytime soon.

Weight is with the venom/buis/empty 30/5 mag.

Can you tell me exactly what acog model number that is and what mount with model number that is?

The stock option was the primary reason I held off, with the 7" twist barrel a close second.
Once Wolverine unf&cks this rifle so one doesn't end up with a bunch of useless parts and a sh!t ton spent on it, I'll consider one.

Bingo. I couldn't get past the seemingly cheap and ungainly buttstock at SHOT Show, and nothing has changed for the better since. Having to spend another $800 on top of the $4k base price in order to get an adjustable LOP stock is ludicrous. And that may not resolve the optic mounting height issue....

Nice rifle, but saddled with an Achilles Heel of a buttstock. I'm in no hurry as a result. Maybe later, used, if there is a reasonably-priced buttstock fix. Too bad, really - I had high hopes for this rifle but cannot justify $4k for a firearm that does not fit me or my desired optics. A CQB Red Dot simply does not exploit the NR version's accuracy potential.
