B&T APC Range report, comparisons and groups

I haven't put mileage on mine yet, so feel free to tell me to read the manual.
Quick question, is the front lower-upper pin fixed? For AR and Swiss I'm accustomed to separating the upper and lower completely.

I must be an odd one out, because I think a MRDS on low mount is fine with the stock. I took off the riser I made because it felt like the height-over-bore was kind of ridiculous on a 1/3 co-witness mount.
Yeah I'm with you; the only reason I'm looking for a snap on riser is to use with a 40mm obj scope. The low mount compact acog is fine for me with the original stock. I think the acog setup I have has about a 2-3mm higher optical bore axis than a t2. I don't know, works for me anyway.

Guys - would a Nightforce 2.5-10x24 be able to mount low enough (loooow rings) to make the stock usable in 'stock' form? I'm interested in getting one to try but not if I need to jimmy the stock to make it usable! Chin weld sucks.

With my 2.5-10x32 as low as it will go you do get a cheek weld with the factory stock, I added a Wiebad stock pad I had laying around to make it perfect but it wasn't necessary.

I'd rather have the pin fixed than whole rifle prohibited.

Yes, but it is just arbitrary rules thought up by an unaccountable police organization that is the reasoning for such measures.
The AR and the majority of other similarly designed semi-auto rifles can be separated, so why not the APC? It just doesn't pass a reality check, especially when you consider maintenance down the road.
Will removing the fixed pin and replacing with a replacement take down pin render the rifle prohibited?
It is just utter nonsense.

I know and we all agree.

Look at the latest insanity initiated by Murray Smith from RCMP lab regarding AR receivers. God forbid you have two extra millimeters between receiver walls, rivers of blood will be flowing on our streets.

SCAR-H is in the lab too, and they most likely made the front pin non removable so you can't swap the new lower to "original lower, easily convertible to full-auto".

Allrighty everyone the rifle and my acr stock are at Ramy's, he'll take a look and see what he can do to merge the 2
