B+T APC223 SBR Review

European guns are proofed to CIP which doesn't differentiate 2.223/5.56

I have ( and the only 223/556 gun I have left after the OIC , cry me a river ) a 10" APC - it started having failure to eject with a certain lot of Winchester 5.56 Q load from 2015.

This leads me to believe the gas port of the APC is tuned towards .223 Winchester Q load M193 has a reputation of being hot, so a few rounds on the "extra hot" side maybe choking the APC with too high of a port pressure.

1. The gas system can easily get fouled in carbon which makes it next to impossible to remove without a hammer. This part needs to be regularly cleaned.

This is a problem common to all rifles with adjustable gas systems. When you're done your range session, just rotate the gas selector back and forth a few times before packing up. If it's already frozen in place, you can just put off cleaning until your next range session, putting more rounds down the pipe will soften the carbon in the gas block again.

Updated the first post.

Interested to see or read and comparison review of the APC vs ACR vs BREN2

I've been interested in the APC and more interested in the APC Pro.
I can offer some info about the ACR. It has none of the "Not So Good" stuff you mentioned in the first post except it also doesnt have a lot of rail space (my opinion at least).
2337 (or somewhere close to that) rounds down the barrel, no issues so far. Barnaul, norinco, federal, geco ammo.
I do wonder if the barrel retention will eventually fail if the barrel was taken off and installed too many times.
