BACK IN STOCK: Henry SPD Predator Lever Action Rifle, .223 Rem/5.56 Nato

Well I hope you guys are happy, just had to go downstairs and put a bipod on my Henry LASR. With my somewhat pronounced gut it was surprisingly comfortable as shown.
I haven't had it out to the range yet but will bring the bipod as well as my normal front bag used for bench shooting.
This rifle is a cope gun for me as I have had AR's for 40 years.
In case you don't know the Henry takes an AR barrel, bolt, mag and has a free floating barrel.
Cycles very smoothly.
With a 1 in 8 twist we'll see how it shoots some of my leftover 77gr Service Rifle ammo.
Will I use a bipod in the field? Probably not.
which bipod are you using?

My wife now has one of these. Put a Henry Muzzel brake on it so it’s a little easier on her shoulder. Probably have about 400 rounds through it now 69 grain sierra bullets. This thing shoots really nice and really accurate. The lever bipod combo works really well and issues when using it on a bench. 300 yards you could hit a dollar bill every single time you pull the trigger

With the price of ammo right now you're pretty much shooting a dollar every time you pull the trigger aren't you?

Lmao.
A bipod for a lever action?
Weird times we live in.

I’d probably piss myself laughing if I seen someone prone shooting with their lever gun in a bipod.

Generally speaking, I share the same opinion except for the fact that I was invited to shoot a Henry Long Ranger in 223 last year @ my club, and it had what looked like a 9-13" Harris and was wearing a red dot. My closed fist would cover the group with a non-magnified optic, but the point being it shot 100% fine off a bipod, from a bench at least.
