Backpackers now in stock

I find the combination of the thin barrel and the low end of the bead-sight dangling down into the flight path somewhat terrifying.

Wow,

I have one from the original batch and I was very surprised how nice the wood grain and finish is done.

Way thicker barrel as well but yes it does shoot a bit low.

Lol i already used the blue polishing bit from my dremmel on the bead ... Also Concerned me first thing I did on the gun to be exact.

I was thinking the same thing. Did it work alright without making the bead fall right out?

Yeah worked fine i made it perfectly flush and smooth... Then re blue... Also if ur doing that might as well smooth the edges of the hammer and Breach latch an then re blue them lol... Im gonna be getting a batch of that arma coat one of these days and do the whole gun with the leftovers

Got mine today. Its not super pretty, but it is the only legal way to have a full stock single shot12ga @ 29" LOA. I hope to make some noise with it tomorrow. Not sure if I will actually hit something. Got a wool blanket too. It is nice and heavy, just needs to air out some.

Just be warned guys, if you were hoping to hide these from your wives or if you live in downtown Toronto.

My shipment of 3 came unpackaged cardboard boxes with the big words "JW SHOTGUN" and a giant bullseye with a shotgun logo a few inches away from the shipping sticker with my name and address on it.

I contacted CanAm, and their customer service rep said they have a few new folks in their shipping department.

I don't think it merits a roast and they were quite polite about it - but still, a small faux pas probably due to some newbies in their shipping department.

I'll post a review after I crack them open tomorrow morning (or tonight) when my kid are sleeping.

I still love CanAm - and am looking forward to my discreetly packaged fourth one :)

Sweet got my order in also got some shotgun adapters thanks shotgun-Bob. Pre ordered an x caliber kit as well hope that wasent a mistake.

I got mine in today. Overall not a bad little shotty, everything locks up tight on it, without rattling. I will be re-painting the stock and foreend. Great buy for $149. CanAm also threw in a Calibre magazine and a CanAm pen. Thanks CanAm!

Ordered mine on Saturday.

Looking forward to having it during our prospecting trip in the early part of July. I am local to the lower mainland. Fingers crossed!

So I went out and fired a couple rounds of 3" bird today and on the second round the fore-end blew off in my left hand and it would no longer latch into place with any feeling of security. I noticed that the gap at the rear of the wood seemed a bit enlarged. Anyway, long story boring, you might want to tighten up the screws on the inside of the grip before you go out blasting. It is a bit of a game to find the right position where your grip will secure in properly. Closing that gap up completely makes it impossible for me to secure the lever to lock the foregrip on.

Oh yeah, one more thing. With a round chambered the extractor jams up making it really difficult to crack the barrel. So make that first shot count.

I received mine today. After a good wiping to remove all the oil.... I put it together.
The problem I'm having is the lever does not break the action open. Feels like the extractor is stuck solid.
Any suggestions before I contact CanAm?

Buster95...my transfer bar does not look off centred like yours. If anything, mine is shifting in the opposite direction.

After trying to open the action for the last half hour with zero results, I'm giving up. Upon closer inspection I've noticed a hairline crack where the receiver joins the butt stock....it's going back to CanAm.

Do you have a pic of the crack?
