Ballistol Gun Oil 115 Year Anniversary Glass Bottle

And I thought I was the only one who used the stuff...LOL

Love the history behind it...Germans developed it during WWI as a CLP and “wound dressing”.

They used it right through WWII also.

Apparently you can even cook with it - not sure if it tastes like it smells in which case I would have to pass.

HAHA I know I have a problem when it comes to Ballistol. I actually love the smell it reminds me of home. My grandfather use to have commercial drums of the stuff, he was a miner/logger and then ran a chainsaw repair shop when he retired. I remember slicing the palm of my hand open and he had me dip the whole thing in the drum. He swore it sped up healing process.

Couldn't find the green can anywhere online or in store so I ordered some from Amazon... it was expensive but I really want to try it. Hope supporting dealers start stocking it. Is there a difference between the green "multi-purpose" can and the white "universalol" can?

CanadaAmmo has some 4 oz fluid cans 6 oz aerosol cans. I don't think any of the different packages have any difference in content.
