And I thought I was the only one who used the stuff...LOL

Love the history behind it...Germans developed it during WWI as a CLP and “wound dressing”.

They used it right through WWII also.

Apparently you can even cook with it - not sure if it tastes like it smells in which case I would have to pass.

HAHA I know I have a problem when it comes to Ballistol. I actually love the smell it reminds me of home. My grandfather use to have commercial drums of the stuff, he was a miner/logger and then ran a chainsaw repair shop when he retired. I remember slicing the palm of my hand open and he had me dip the whole thing in the drum. He swore it sped up healing process.

CanadaAmmo has some 4 oz fluid cans 6 oz aerosol cans. I don't think any of the different packages have any difference in content.

i have used it since 1974 it is a excellant product made from vegtable oil and in spray form i think it smells like puke after a hard nite of drinking wine imo
