Ban includes AR upper receivers

It’s pretty simple really... just don’t turn them in. (As of now) it seems grandfathering will be an option. So long as this remains true, with me they shall remain.

I’m asking for Mike, he told me he might be moving in the near future. What if grandfathering isn’t a thing yet when he moves?

He's leaving Canmore?

I would imagine he would simply apply for an ATT.

I will be in a similar position soon and expect that is the answer. if they dont give me one what do they expect me to do? Cancel the property deal? Leave it behind? Take it anyways and become a criminal?

and become a criminal?

don't kid yourself .. you and all of us are already … hard core criminals … we just got a delay for 2 years before being charged …

as CCFR message pointed, the OICs have a lot of inconsistencies and holes .. they will have to figure out how to maneuver around them when people start asking, demanding and pointing …

for now (any protest, etc activities aside) we have to wait for that promised buy-back program's and "grandfathering" option's conditions ..

we will see .. 2 years is quite a time … some changes in the situation may happen .. especially post-pandemic ...

I understand that uppers are now prohibited, but specifically a prohibited device. Is there any laws or regulations that governs the storage(think trigger/cable lock) or transportation of these prohibited devices?

AFAICS, the storage rules for newly prohibited items stay as of before the OICs ..

There is always the us market if you have something on the high end in terms of value. I believe uppers and components can be exported there for sale.

Whole AR rifles is a different matter due to needing 922r compliance. Which appears to not care if the rifle was originally from the US or not. Which is kind of funny.

so how will this work with uppers? I have several ar'15 several uppers at one point more uppers then lowers lately less uppers then lowers BUT I di have barrels that I was swapping around as the last 3-4 weeks I could not find an uppers to build on

so I never bothered updating my certs it has NOT been over 30 days last year when I called they were less then interested in updating from 14.5 to a 20 inch barrel they said it did not matter

so I have certs that say a barrel length I may or may not have anymore or even the whole upper ill call next week and find out what's listed on my certs, will they allow me to change it now?

will they have serials on each upper?

Didn't you have catastrophic chamber explosions on all your uppers just before the pandemic closed down the ranges? Something to do with bad reloads, right? I told you not to keep testing them and destroying all your nice uppers.

I remember you had to throw away all your uppers... What a waste....

I know but will they make us add serials ?

To the blown up / destroyed uppers that Karnage warned you about using super hot reloads in?

Even if you could find them at this point it would be impossible to add a serial number as they look like jigsaw puzzles.

I parted out a few AR. I don't even have the uppers anymore. Just the lowers. I called the CFO on a few occasions to get it registered as a frame/receiver and they told me not to bother. They said as long as the serial number was correct, that's all they cared about. She basically hung on a me after that. So I don't know WTF you are supposed to do.
