I have a Bar 300 winmag and I don't mind the weight, its not so bad to worry about.
The extra weight, I think makes it more stable & very accurate, that's for sure..
but everyone is saying it's reliable, but I can't be the only one that it doesn't fully load sometimes and have to give it a shove to fully close the breach ?
so, no, it's not fully reliable... but overall good gun
That's a long casing to deal with in a semi-auto... I'd think the shorter casing calibres may function more reliably ?
never shot a R1, so can't make claim about its reliable feeding or not? ? Suppose to be a good gun.. I'm curious to hear from everyone, if their Bar or R1 always fully feeds next round after shot after shot ?
Remington semi's were suppose to be know for the unreliable feeding, but i'm sure others have same problem.
any recommondations on how to secure better feeding in my gun, would be great added info to this thread.
